"a portrait of each of my children, once each week, in 2014"
Jaden: He was so looking forward to this weekend. The first UNI game in the Dome this season, his very own football game to play in Saturday morning, his first time truly tailgating... and finally a chance to wear his favorite purple and gold striped socks. (Pictures of those to come). We were all so excited on Friday night for Panther Homecoming weekend that we had some fun with chalk in the driveway before dinner. He saw me making some big bubble letters and decided he wanted to take a crack at it, too. Not bad for his first attempt, especially considering artistry and coloring is most definitely not his favorite thing!
Brandon: I love this picture of him. It was "Panther Day" at daycare on Friday and all the kids were asked to wear UNI clothes. He was so excited for this all week long and couldn't wait to proudly show off his "Panther hat, Panther t-shirt, Panther shorts, Panther shoes and Panther bracelet!" He was decked out from head to toe and was a model for the UNI colors all weekend long. And he couldn't wait for tailgating day. We of course had Panther cupcakes to mark the occasion, and I love the purple frosting on his lips.
