"a portrait of each of my children, once each week, in 2014"
Jaden: This is his game face. I couldn't really get him to give me a genuine smile. When Panther football is happening, he is all business. Truly. He follows it so much already - not just UNI football, but football in general - and understands the game so well at his age, that even the people sitting around us have commented on it. We were pretty happy campers with the outcome this weekend. Rest assured, this face transformed into a full smile by the end of the four quarters.
Brandon: He had preschool homework this weekend and was so excited about it. He had to make a family poster that showcased all the things that are important to us as a unique family unit. He took a little help from Daddy but mostly did it on his own. After we taped a few pictures down, he drew the UNI logo all by himself, a fishing boat, Fall trees to show our love of being in the outdoors, our cat Lucy, a Christmas tree and a Jesus cross. He spent most of the game in the Dome on Saturday coloring on the bleachers, and the people that sit behind us couldn't get enough of him. By the end of the game, the older lady was stroking his head as he drew. He's a stinker, but he's a cute one, and people fall in love with him just by watching him.
