"a portrait of one, two, or all three of my children - once each week - in 2019"

Jaden: Our community passed a big bond vote yesterday, and now you get to look forward to a brand new high school in your future! If the school opens the year they are aiming for, you will be part of the first class to open its doors for the first time, as it's set to be completed for your first year of high school! Fingers crossed! Regardless of when the building is completed, we are so excited for you kids to have a brand new and safer place to spend some of your most important years.

Brandon: You've been busy on one big Minecraft project, building the entire Magic Kingdom park brick by brick. Watching you design such an intricate and cool place via a video game has been pretty cool, and it's definitely helping to keep you occupied this summer. You've completed the castle and the train station and have your eyes set on Space Mountain. :)

Kaitlyn: You are so fun these days! You've picked up on a new word this past week and repeat it often! "Ahcky!" If we tell you something is "ahcky" so that you don't touch it or put it in your mouth, you are quick to say it along with us. :) The boys are giddy with excitement as they wait for you to speak more and more. You are quite the cute little firecracker!

Spring 2019 || From the Phone

We're almost through June, and our calendar is heating up! We've got two big year-end basketball tournaments coming up requiring some big travel, a very important birthday, a 4th of July holiday, and an incredibly busy July that will lead right into August and the start of all the football practices and all the back to school things. I was looking at my calendar, and I don't think I'm going to be working a full week the entire month of July. This summer is already flying by, but before I can progress to summer pictures, I have to share some cute images off my phone from the last few months. In complete random order... here we go. ;)

|| Baby girl started sleeping on her side more throughout the spring months (she now sleeps on her tummy a lot with her butt straight up in the air!), but it's one of my favorite things to check on her while she sleeps. Such a sleeping beauty. :)

|| A note sent home from Brandon's teacher (as well as a personal phone call). Gosh, these kids of mine make me so proud.

|| A March basketball trip up to Minneapolis. The boys and families loved eating breakfast together in the morning out in the pool room, and all the siblings enjoyed and players enjoyed soaking their feet in the hot tub each morning.

|| And an afternoon and evening spent at Mall of America. Everyone had so much fun!

|| Jaden has becoming increasingly cautious and nervous to ride any rides so he told us not to even spend money on a wrist band for him during this trip. However, he was such a good sport following everyone around - and even carried the basketball moms' coats for them while we rode roller coasters together! ;)

|| Brandon and Landon have so much fun together on trips. Landon is just a year younger than Brandon, and it's sure helpful to have other siblings to hang around with. These two rode the roller coaster over and and over... and over again together!

|| Team lunch!

|| We couldn't wait to get home to this girl (gosh, she looks small in this picture!). And of course we brought presents! Her first bathing suit from the Disney store and some Ariel and Cinderella dolls from Papa Bob and Nana Nancy. :)

|| She doesn't get any attention... ;)

|| We got her all decked out in her pink Panther gear to cheer on the Panthers in their MVC Tournament Championship game! They didn't get the win, but she looked adorable anyways. ;)

|| ...and it's time to retire the bouncy seat. ;)

|| Our first walk of spring! Isn't funny how warm 45 degrees can feel in March? ;)

|| I turned my head for one second...

|| Annual Spring Break hunting trip with Dad.

|| This girl in the sunshine - those blue eyes and pink hoodie. :)

|| Trampoline talks and reuniting with neighbors after a long winter!

|| He's been working so hard, getting out there every single day to put shots up - sometimes even in the dark!

|| Officially part of Martin Brothers University!

|| Evening walks with babies and basketballs.

|| Warmer weather, smaller clothes, and all those cute baby rolls!

|| These boys are good morning helpers!

|| More hotel stays and a basketball trip to Madison...

|| Surprising the boys by meeting them at their new bus stop. We had some road construction for a few weeks so their bus stop was moved up the street for a bit. Kaitlyn loved to go greet them!

|| Brandon got home from school, and Kaitlyn immediately leaned in for a kiss!

|| Easter time with cousins.

|| This girl and her Target onesie. :)

|| California views in April.

|| My favorite tree for two weeks every May.

|| Her room is my favorite.

|| My Mother's Day morning...

|| Our neighbor Violet loves baby Kaitlyn!

|| Walks with Daddy in the backyard before bed.

|| Started most May mornings right here while waiting for the bus to come.

|| Cody and I gifted this rocking elephant to Ella for her first birthday and gave it to her the night that Cody proposed. This was Kaitlyn's first time trying it out for size!

|| A birthday party spent falling asleep on Daddy's shoulders!

|| When Lucy likes to sneak up on Kaitlyn during bath time.

|| Morning snuggles with our stuffed animal friends!

|| Her cute summer clothes and our first really hot day.

|| First time shopping like a big girl!

 || Texts from daycare - a friend's Dinosaur-themed birthday party. ;)

|| Watching Daddy cut the grass before bed.

|| Aunt Cassi's chalk drawings.

|| Morning wake-ups to this face. :)
