Winter 2020 || From the Phone

|| While Jaden and Cody were at basketball practice, we attempted to visit the Christmas with Oakridge event. However, the lines to see Santa and the Frozen characters were crazy long, and Kaitlyn was coming down with the first symptoms of what would eventually be RSV. She did like the cookies though!

|| Our girl spent the first week of December feeling pretty rotten so of course she got spoiled. A new Christmas train from Papa Bob and Nana Nancy...

...and a new Christmas puzzle from Mommy and Daddy!

|| What a fun and eventful night at The O.P. We joined other fans to watch our Panthers pick up a HUGE win on TV... and in the middle of the second half, Brandon choked on a mint. It was quite scary and I thought we were going to end up performing the heimlich, but luckily he was able to get it out before we got to that point.

|| Caught my girl eating graham crackers in bed. :)

|| A fun morning at the library!

|| And learning how to build big block towers with Papa Bob.

|| Many nights of hot cocoa - with Frozen-themed marshmallows, of course.

|| Kaitlyn started loving Greek yogurt - but she loved playing with it as much as she loved eating it. ;)

|| Jaden had to complete a big first semester research project and presentation on the battles of the Civil War.

|| We spent a gorgeous night downtown for Christmas on Main.

|| She actually managed to fall asleep once or twice in the McLeod Center.

|| We kicked off Christmas break with some time at Ninja U!

|| Christmas Eve morning at Grandma Alda's piano.

|| And Christmas Eve service with our sleepy, peaceful girl.

|| Sitting like a big girl at big brother's games!

|| Training her to love Target. (Until COVID hit).

|| Learning to carry her baby around on her back. :)

|| Such a memorable basketball season with a conference championship at the end. Too bad March never got to happen.

|| We often found her in quiet corners with her books. :)

|| Happy mail from our travel agent.

|| My frequent wave goodbye from the daycare window in the morning. :)

|| The one and only time we got her in her snow gear this winter.

|| And this happened. We've entered the junior high chapter. This night was surreal.

|| Couldn't find her one morning. Until we checked the shower.

|| The day of her first sellout basketball crowd experience.

|| And after the win? Their first post-game press conference.

|| She discovered her love for chicken nuggets.

|| Valentine's Day pictures from daycare.

|| Her first time going potty like a big girl!

|| Is it my turn now, Mommy?!

|| State basketball hotel traditions...

|| And a new devotional that's been right up our alley. We enjoy reading from this several nights a week, and I'm looking to get the second version!

|| A big, successful hunting trip with Daddy.

...and Winter - that's a wrap!
