The First Day of School || 2020

We were so thankful when our school district decided to attempt in person schooling full time. Though they gave parents the option to do in-person or go virtual, we knew with 100% certainty that sending the boys to school was the right decision for us. Especially with Jaden starting junior high, we didn't want his experience in this next chapter of life to be anything other than "normal." Even if this year normal also meant wearing face masks while in school all day.

Though Jaden was admittedly nervous for junior high, he also was ready. Both boys were ready to go back to school after so many unending months stuck at home.

First day of 5th grade...

We are almost halfway through the school year now, and I can say that things are going very well. A few hiccups here and there but so thankful we made the decision to send them to school every day. Jaden's doing well in junior high, enjoying the opportunity to mature, spread his wings, play school sports, walk home from school with friends and eat those expanded school lunches that junior high offers. ;) 

Brandon was invited to join ELP (Exceptional Learning Program) and is thriving as a 5th grader. 

And baby sis now talks about school buses and how she will get to ride one someday when she "gets bigger." ;) 

Thankful for good schools, good teachers, and praying that second semester brings more growth and continued health.
