A hot weekend!

With temperatures in the 90's all weekend, a hot sun and nothing on the calendar, we tried to come up with easy and cool ways to entertain ourselves. A little bit of time outside, a lot of time in the A/C and long naps after the sun zapped our energy both days! I also failed to capture very many still pictures... but did re-introduce myself to our video camera!

Weekend highlights...
...picking out new flowers and planting and watering them. The boys LOVE to help plant and water flowers...

...Mommy got to pick out a new swimming suit, and the boys got to run through the sprinkler...

...three hour naps on Saturday (even for Mommy and Daddy!)...

...kabobs on the grill and a late evening walk...

...a later bedtime and family movie night... Fievel Goes West...

...church on Sunday morning and The O.P. for lunch...

...Vacation Bible School kickoff... a picnic and fun music...

Going to be a busy week. Jaden has VBS every single night, which allows for lots of quick suppers and lots and lots of one-on-one time with our little Brandon. Mommy's got a press conference for work on Wednesday, and the number one France news station is visiting our Waterloo office this week!
