A Chuck E. Cheese Birthday

For months leading up to his birthday, Brandon was begging for a Chuck E. Cheese birthday. How could I say no to my 5-year old? We gathered the entire family, honored his request for a Superman cake, and enjoyed having most of the place to ourselves on a quiet Monday night.

Just some pictures from our night... the birthday boy was a happy one. (Except for when Papa Bob pulled apart his very long chain of tickets so that someone wouldn't step on them and rip them. We learned quickly after the incident, and after his brief meltdown, that Brandon's goal for the night was to create as long a chain of tickets as he could!)

This is where most of the ticket collecting took place. He spent most of his night right here.

Ella was a helpful big cousin, reading all of his birthday cards to him. He's the only five year old I know that actually cared to read the cards before opening the presents that went with them!

One of his favorite gifts from Mommy and Daddy... a Superman t-shirt with detachable cape!

 

One of my favorite parts of the night had to be watching him run circles around the arcade games just so he could make the cape billow behind him. ;)

 

Love my boys to pieces... blue frosting lips and all.
