Some of Cody's childhood friends have their own little private pond on their property and have given Cody permission to access it whenever he would like to. We ventured out here a couple of summers ago, and the boys had a blast so we decided to return one Sunday afternoon at the start of this summer. It's a great pond for fishing, sand hill climbing, canoeing... and swimming! Pack a cooler or two, some sand chairs... and enjoy complete privacy and a full day of summer fun.

This was adorable. Brandon sat in this spot for a good half hour just playing with the sand and "seaweed" and reminded me that there's still a little boy in that growing body and spirit of his.
