Fall 2019 || From the Phone

With a busy toddler and a busy life, I take just as many pictures on my phone these days as I do on my nice camera. A Fall wrap-up with some of my favorite mobile shots of the season:

|| Her first time wearing her UNI cheerleading dress, and Mommy felt glowing. I prayed for this moment and this girl.

|| Apple picking. Right after we were done, Kaitlyn fell face first into the pavement and got herself quite the nose scab!

|| Having cousins and family up the street is especially fun in nice weather. The kids bounce back and forth on bikes and on foot and lots of time is spent on our front porch and trampoline.

|| I kept the mums alive for a good solid month and a half again.

|| An impromptu night on the back deck with friends and family and face paint.

|| Our last day at Grandpa and Grandma's farm, a big slice of watermelon... and there's that nose scab. ;)

|| Football practice. So many football practices.

|| A new all-inclusive playground! Cody's company helped put the finishing touches on this place, and we can't wait to visit again in the spring. Really, I can't wait to visit all the parks in the spring. Our girl was still finding her land legs when the weather changed, and now that she's confident and mobile and almost RUNNING... it's going to be so fun to watch her explore the great outdoors from a whole new perspective.

|| A trip out to Daddy's work for more mums... and lots of oos and ahhs for our cute girl from all the Wapsie customers.

|| Lots of Saturdays spent in the Dome.

|| And Sundays spent on a football field. The first one to show up for his first game of the season... and what a game he had. Some of my favorite memories were made this fall.

|| A really good thunderstorm one night, and this girl was all in for it.

|| She's also a ball hog already. ;)

|| The boys didn't have school one day so we went to Village Inn and then bought plane tickets to Florida. And now the countdown is almost to single digits!

|| Right after this, she stole the football. ;)

|| Neighborhood walks.

|| And meet and greats with former UNI/NFL football players.

|| Just because she's so dang cute.

|| "Hi, boys!!"

|| The start of all things twinkly lights. Having a little one at Christmas time again is so fun. She was a big fan of all the trees and blow up yard decorations in Menards. ;)

|| Enjoying the fruits of a lot of hard work and money spent. Worth it. I love this cozy spot.

|| She went through a phase of always wanting to climb into anything and everything.

|| Random sweetness.

|| A tailgate party at the Christmas tree farm. ;) There was an abundance of food and dogs to play with, and it didn't matter that it was absolutely pouring outside.

|| The whole family. These kids are lucky.

|| Hugs for baby!

|| And the whole family again. The night of three touchdowns, including a game winner on the final play.

|| Our bedtime routine is one of my favorite times of the day.

|| Heading out for his very last practice as a Junior Tiger. It went way, way too fast you guys. I was so worried and hesitant about tackle football at his age, but it was such a blessing. And his heart is all in for it.

|| Trying to do homework with a baby sis around. ;)

|| Brandon's contribution to fire safety week. Always free hand. Our little artist.

|| Acorns and pine cones and all the Fall things!

|| And her first set of piggy tails. :)

|| Their school pictures turned out so good. I can't believe this is Jaden's last elementary picture.

|| A night at Pepper's with Nana and Papa and her first set of crayons.

|| I was recognized on the field at one of our games this season, and unfortunately Brandon was sick and couldn't come, but Jaden sure enjoyed the sideline life for a while.

|| Our Tiger quarterback meeting our Panther quarterback. We kind of chuckle at how much they look alike at times. ;)

|| She adores her big brothers, and they adore her.

|| Pictures from daycare with her baby. :)

|| Her very first nightgown. I couldn't resist this Frozen one ahead of the new movie coming out. ;)

|| When practice is cancelled but Jaden still wanted to put in work. I ran errands, Papa Bob grabbed rebounds. ;)

|| The first flurries of the season...

...and this girl waking up to her first memorable snow.

|| Jaden was asked to read his written story at Literacy Night. But Kaitlyn tried to steal the show a bit. ;)

|| Breakfast with the Panthers, and our boys won the prize drawing!

|| Another picture from daycare. Learning to take her clothes off. ;)

|| We get this look a lot!

|| The start of basketball season - year 4 already!

|| And her first basketball game of the year! She did so well.

"How much do we love Kaitlyn?!"

|| Jaden played some percussion at his 6th grade music concert and did a really good job! This is way more up his alley than the actual singing is. ;)

|| And her first UNI football game. She made it through half time and into the 3rd quarter!

Fall, that's a wrap!
