I bought myself a new personal computer last week. My work computer crashed, which was probably a blessing in disguise as that thing had been causing me fits for two years. It was slow. It froze all the time. And I just never really felt like complaining too much so that they would send me a new one. But when that one finally bit the dust, I had to wait a couple of days for my new one to be sent to me. And in the in between, I also ordered a personal one for myself. A backup - so that I'd never be without a computer again - but also so that I could have a system devoted solely to my pictures and editing and personal blogging.
And now that I have a much faster performing computer, I'm going to make an attempt to get caught up here and stay caught up.
So here we are - a bunch of random final pictures of a winter that was filled with sickness, the start of COVID, one big vacation in the middle... and a little girl growing fast and furiously. In fact, looking back on these few images I took in January and February... she has grown so much since then. (And her hair? It's gotten blonder!)
|| A morning at the Youth Pavilion. Kaitlyn was just under 18 months here and had just discovered her love of steps. So unfortunately, she was far less intrigued with the different exhibits as she was with the pavilion steps that she just wanted to climb over and over again. ;)
|| She started spending more time in her room and with her dolls. Lots of quiet mornings and late evenings spent on her soft pink rug.
|| A Cinderella car from Christmas that she only knew how propel backwards instead of forwards. ;)
|| The day after we returned home from Disney. We bundled her up in her snow pants and boots, pulled her around the yard in her toddler sled, and watched her try to walk in knee deep snow. She could have stayed out there all day.
|| The cutest little cheerleader - she got lots of attention from the Panther fans on the Mcleod Center concourse that she liked to run around on during basketball games.
|| A growing attachment to her babies - she even sleeps with them now from time to time now.
|| I discovered that if I threw a bunch of books in her bed when she wakes up, I'd have enough time for a quick shower. :)
|| Our first breath of spring. So many great pictures to come...
