Jaden: You spent your first night sleeping in your new basement bedroom last night! Daddy and Papa Tim finished installing your egress window on Saturday, and we spent the weekend moving your mattress, bedding, clothes and other furniture into your new space. There is still work to be done - one more section of sheet rock to hang and paint around the new window, trim work to be completed and a new overhead light to install... but it's all coming together and taking shape, and you slept great for your first night! You even slept in a little bit this morning! It's going to take some adjusting having to go up and down steps to get to your room, but it sure is nice to add a fourth bedroom to our home, and you are really looking forward to some extra privacy and future sleepovers down there with your buddies. You're mostly excited about being closer to the video games - located in the family room right next to your bedroom. ;)
Brandon: You were giddy excited watching Daddy set up the baby's crib in her bedroom this weekend, and you were super helpful to me when I was going through bags and bags of baby clothes and trying to sort them into laundry piles by sizes. Except for a weird 12-hour stomach flu that hit you Saturday afternoon/evening, we had a good Mother's Day weekend, and you so sweetly offered up a lot of your toys to all of your little cousins that invaded our home on Sunday afternoon.
