"a portrait of each of my children, once each week, in 2018"
Jaden: We had an excellent parent teacher conference with Mr. Henrichs this past week, and we got to read your story that you'd been working on for quite some time. When Papa Bob had a chance to read it - a three-page narrative all about you playing your favorite Need for Speed PS4 game - he laughed so hard, he cried. You are something else, bud. ;)
Brandon: You also had an excellent parent teacher conference, and we were finally able to read the personal narrative you've been working on. There I sat at the teacher's desk, tears in my eyes as Ms. Sullivan handed me a box of kleenex while I read your account of Kaitlyn's birth day. In your narrative, you called it the "best day of your life." Baby girl is so lucky to have you boys.
Kaitlyn: I love slow dancing with you by the Christmas tree before bed every night. The way the lights sparkle in your blue eyes and the way you look at me so intently - with wonder and curiosity and love - as I read to you. I love our story times together, and you seem to love it, too.
