Jaden: A picture from Daddy's phone. You played basketball in the "big city" this weekend and all you wanted to do was step foot alongside that Chiefs Stadium. You got your wish on your last day, and when Daddy sent this picture to me, it brought tears to my eyes. There's so much growing and stretching happening right now, and time is speeding up with you. It's starting to go all too quickly.
Brandon: You made your vacation countdown chain and opted to go for "weeks" instead of "days." Now every Sunday night, we take a link off of that chain and count how many weeks are left. This month you are looking forward to our first "planning" deadline as we have to decide where to make all of our dining reservations since the most popular spots fill up six months out. But this is why spending the money is worth it - it's not just fun while we're there - the buildup is almost as fun as the trip itself. :)
Kaitlyn: You were the cutest thing ever at The Falls pool last night. You loved standing along the side of the zero entry pool and waving at the people as they walked by - whether they saw you or not. :) You LOVE floating the lazy river, and watching you so sweetly happy made my heart explode. Though I am sad that the first year is almost over already, I'm being reminded how fun and fulfilling it is to watch your children blossom during those early years.
